From oddments of pretty furnishing fabric, cut a rectangle measuring 17cm x 46cm, two circles 16cm in diameter and two rectangles 25cm x 8cm for straps.

To make: Stitch seams with right sides of fabric together and take 1cm seam allowances. Fold straps in half lengthwise and stitch down the side and across one end. Turn right side out and press. Tack unfinished ends to opposite sides of top circle.

Stitch side edges of large rectangle together. Press seam allowances open. Pin and stitch side to top and bottom circles, leaving bottom seam open for turning through. Turn right side out. Fill with dried split peas or rice. Stitch up gap in seam.
