Machine embroider a monogrammed napkin

Embroidered napkin

To make

Buy plain cotton or linen napkins. Choose a font style on your computer. Enlarge your chosen initial to the desired size and print it off. We enlarged ours to 3.5cm high. Trace the initial lightly onto the corner of the napkin. Following the free embroidery instructions, work several rows of stitching to embroider the initial. Trim off excess interfacing as close to the stitching as possible and press.

Tip: As the embroidery is close to the edge of the fabric, you may need to use quite a small embroidery hoop.
