Make a handy clothes-peg holster

CL sew a clothes-peg holster by Sarah Moore - Craft - allaboutyou.com

You will need

● length of fabric
● iron
● pins
● sewing machine
● belt buckle without pin
● needle and thread

To make

1 Take a 20cm-wide piece of fabric that is long enough to go around your waist or over your shoulder. Turn over a 1cm hem on each of the four sides (start with the ends for a neater finish) and then press.

2 Fold this piece into three, lengthways, and iron again. Pin in place, then sew all the way around the outside, about 5mm from the edge. Remove the pins as you go.

3 Turn over one end by 2cm, and loop this around the centre of the buckle. Machine or hand-sew securely in place before filling with clothes pegs. Join the ends by using the buckle when you wear it.

Top tip
You can adapt your peg holster design by using different fabrics or adding ric-rac braid and ribbon.
