Make a pretty felt needle case: free sewing pattern
Store away your sewing needles in this fabulous felt needle case. By Kirsty Robertson
You will need
• Oddments of red and white felt
• Oddment of printed cotton fabric
• Matching thread
• Pinking shears
• Sewing needles
How to make
1 Using pinking shears, cut a 16cm x 11cm rectangle of felt for the outside, a 14cm x 9cm rectangle of felt for the inside and a 7cm x 5cm rectangle of fabric for the trim.
2 Fold the outside in half and position the trim centrally on the front of the needle case. Pin and stitch in place.
3 Position the smaller piece of felt centrally on the inside of the case and stitch the two pieces together through the centre.
