Make bunting from old clothes

Bunting on white wardrobe - Make bunting from old clothes - Craft - allaboutyou.com

Cut a triangle 21cm wide x 25cm deep from card.

Use this template to cut triangles of fabric – we used old shirts, but any scraps of fabric will do.

For the binding, cut 6cm-wide strips of shirt fabric, as long as possible. Stitch the strips together to form the required length and press seams open. Press under 1.5cm along both long edges. Fold in half lengthways and press.

Sandwich the triangles of fabric between edges of binding, leaving a 5cm gap between each triangle. Pin and stitch in place.

Tip: Leave enough binding at both ends to allow the bunting to be hung up and tied in place.
