no-sew bed runner

Updating a bedroom doesn't have to cost a fortune and you can make some stylish changes without having to splash the cash.

Using some leftover material, a tube of Sew Simple fabric glue and a little imagination, you can create a contemporary bed runner to brighten up a tired old bedspread in minutes.

Choose a fabric in a bright or contrasting material. Fold over the edges of the fabric to create a hem.

Apply Sew Simple fabric glue to the inside of the hem line and then secure by pressing firmly into place.

Next, embellish the bed runner with beads, ribbons or buttons. Simply apply a thin line of Sew Simple and press decorative items into place.  Allow the glue time to dry before laying the runner on the bed.

Sew Simple costs £3.99 and is available from most major high street retailers. For stockist details, call 01785 272625. For further information, visit www.bostik.co.uk
