● Sheet of greaseproof paper
● Ironing board
● Scissors
● Bondaweb
● Iron
● Sewing hoop
● Cushion pad

How to make

2. Place the pieces right-side down on the greaseproof paper on an ironing board, as close to each other as possible but not quite touching.

3. Cut your Bondaweb and lay, paper-side up, across the arrangement of shapes. Press well until all the pieces are attached to it.

4. Turn over and peel off the greaseproof paper. around the shapes and peel off the Bondaweb backing paper.

5. Rearrange the shapes, right-side up, on the cushion cover, place another sheet of greaseproof paper on top and iron to fasten to the cushion.

6. Place the design in a sewing hoop and tighten until the fabric is smooth and taut. Starting from behind, sew small running stitches around the edges of each shape.

7. Remove from the hoop and stuff with the cushion pad.

Tip: If your fabric is patterned but not floral, cut out pretty flower shapes and apply them to the cover in the same way.
