Sew a stocking decoration for the Christmas tree

These take just a few minutes to make and are a joy to receive.

1 Design your own decoration, such as a stocking or star (use the template below if you wish), or use biscuit cutters as a stencil. Draw your design on a piece of paper, then pin this template to fabric remnants and cut out.

2 Using contrasting thread, sew around the decoration in a running stitch. Sew on a loop of ribbon and attach a little bell.
