Tension

19 sts and 26 rows to 10 cm (4 in) over st-st using 4mm needles.

If tension is tight use a size larger needle, if loose use a size smaller needle.

For the cushion cover

Start at back of cover by casting on 65 sts 

Beg with a k row work 80 rows in st-st. K2 rows to form a ridge.

Front of cover

Work 80 rows of patt from chart, reading odd-numbered rows from right to left and even-numbered rows from left to right.

Cast off.

Fold in half at 'ridge'. Join side seams. Slip pad in place and join cast-on and cast-off edges.
