Make a blackboard advent calendar
For a rustic advent calendar that takes minutes to make, try stringing baubles on a blackboard
Make your own advent calendar using a blackboard, string and pegs.
Write the numbers 1 to 24 on the blackboard in chalk. Attach lengths of string above each row of numbers.
Attach a pretty Christmas decoration to hang above each number with a mini clothes-peg.
On each day of December - until Christmas Eve - you can remove the decoration and hang it on the tree.
