Make Christmas crackers
Hand-making Christmas crackers means you can choose your own paper and presents
1 Cut a piece of tissue paper and wrapping paper to A4 size. Place a loo-roll tube in the centre of the long edge of the tissue paper.
2 Hold in place and secure with tape. Roll the tube up in the paper; secure with doublesided tape. Repeat with the wrapping paper.
3 Run a cracker snap through the centre (available from www.crackersnaps.co.uk).
4 Pinch one end together and tie with ribbon.
5 Place a gift, joke or motto inside the tube.
6 Pinch the other end and finish with a ribbon to secure.
