Make beaded glass tealight holders

Beaded glass tealight holders to make- Make beaded glass tealight holders - Christmas decorations to make - Craft - allaboutyou.com

You will need

● Glass tumbler
● Superglue
● Silver glass rocaille beads and bugle beads
● Paper plate
● 30cm narrow ribbon

To make

1. Mix the rocaille and bugle beads together on the paper plate. Then, working in small sections, apply the glue to the glass using the nozzle.

2. Hold the glass over the plate and use a spoon to pour the mixed beads over the glued area. The excess beads will fall away and can be reapplied for the next section.

3. When the glue is completely dry to the touch, check for any blank parts and apply more glue and beads as required. Allow to dry.

4. Tie the narrow ribbon in a bow at the base of the glass and trim the ribbon ends diagonally, using scissors, to prevent them from fraying.

Tip: For a different effect, use a coloured glass and beads in a matching or contrasting tone.
