embellished cardigan: Make a jewel-encrusted cardi

Measure around the neck and both front edges of your cardigan, allowing for turning corners and 1cm extra at each end.

Choose a bold jewelled trimming to make a statement.

Pin in place, folding mitres at the corners and turning under ends at the lower edge of cardigan.

Stitch the mitred corners in place first by hand then stitch both sides of the trimming in place by machine - depending on the size of the ‘jewels' and how close they are to the edge of the backing, you may need to use a zipper foot.
