Make a cute felted wool corsage

A felted corsage would make a pretty gift

Pink felt corsage

Make a felted corsage from an old wool sweater which has become shrunken and felted, or deliberately felt a piece of knitwear that you no longer use by washing it on a 60º wash to shrink it.

Cut a strip 20cm x 1cm and two strips 40cm x 2cm. Starting with the small strip, curl it round and round in a circle turning it over as you go and stitching it in place after each turn to make the centre of the flower. Continue in this way with the large strips, hiding joins underneath to finish the flower. Cut a circle from leftovers and stitch to base of flower to neaten it. Sew on a brooch pin.
