A miraculous furniture polish and a great night out | What I really want for Christmas: a man's wishlist

Sleeping like a log - a warm log

I find it so hard to stay warm after September but I have found two solutions...

I don't like cold weather - it's rotten indoors and out and Christmas is the only good thing about winter I reckon. There - now you know what a grouch I am. But the result of my grouchiness is that I spend on my hatred of cold weather. So far I have got my cold hands on two wonderful new things...

1) This gorgeous cardi (£150) from All Saints

- it's soft and sumptuous and I feel very, very good in it. I probably won't buy another cardi for eons. Am being protective of the thing - will not be drinking coffee or red wine while wearing it.

2) This wool-filled duvet (pictured left) from www.thewoolroom.com (£140) which I have thrown on top of the bed and am loving. I have never had a wool-filled one before and it has such a great weight to it. It was nippy the other night, apparently, but I wasn't aware of it.
