Improving your beauty routine on holiday
I've just come back from a few days holiday in Crete. It's amazing what you can fit into a few days free of time pressures. I used eye-cream religiously, moisturised my elbows regularly and exfoliated bits that hadn't seen the light of day for quite some time. I might even have flossed had I thought to bring any with me. Like pretty much everyone else on the planet I only floss on the day of a dentist's appointment, just so I can say with total honesty 'this morning'when asked 'when did you last floss?'. I once asked a hygienist if she really knew anyone, apart from herself, who flossed regularly. Only one other person she admitted - another hygienist.
Still, all that could be a thing of the past once this nifty little gadget hits in the shelves this summer. Gadgets normally don't do it for me but I like this one - a tool that shoots water between your teethat 45 miles an hour. Just charge it up, fill the handle with water (you can also use mouthwash, or I suppose any liquid you like really - the mind boggles) and squirt. It's called a Sonicare AirFloss , it's made by Philips and is available now to pre-order from Amazon. It will be on sale from mid August in Amazon and Boots for £90.
Watch out for the Crete travel feature and Aldemar Royal Mare spa review coming soon - tales of unbridled moisturisation in the sun ...
