We did it!

The GH team and almost 18,000 MoonWalkers step up to the plate

by Moya Sarner

Well, we did it! On Saturday night, the 16-strong Good Housekeeping MoonWalk team took to the streets of London baring our spectacular decorated bras (and some other clothes too) to raise money for breast cancer charity Walk The Walk. The whole team did fantastically well, walking either a half marathon or the full 26.2 miles throughout the night, along with almost 18,000 women and men each sporting a dazzling ‘rock ‘n’ roll’ themed bra. Special congratulations go to our Editorial Director Lindsay Nicholson, who collected her medal after walking her first full marathon, five years after her own diagnosis. The enthusiasm and encouragement from supporters and sponsors helped us through – as did the bacon butties at the finish line!

Thanks so much for joining us on our journey, we hope you had a great night too, whether you were walking or supporting. And good luck for next year!
