I have no guilt whatsoever about eating pancakes but I am pleased to have found two ways of making pancakes so that they come out less greasy...
1) The gleam on my breakfast here is lemon juice not grease - these pancakes, which look so homemade, came from an M&S 6-pack...
You microwave them in a stack for 2 mins 40 secs and they are light, slightly spongey and absolutely delicious. I ate mine in the office this morning. Might make a one-day-a-week habit of that! £1.99 per pack.
2) This chic contraption above sits on my kitchen worktop next to the toaster and produces fabulous French-style pancakes. I love the wooden twizzler for spreading the mixture. It is so much easier to make a pancake on this than it is in a frying pan - and although you use butter to grease the surface the pancakes do turn out less greasy than they do from a pan. We had some with Nutella last night. They make a perfect dessert. Brevilles Traditional Crêpe Maker, £27.99 from Argos.
