Another Aussie they really know their hair down under. If youve got mid-length locks and sweep your fringe to the side then youve got no excuse to not copy Cate. This angelic style from Jamie Stevens is the grown up way to do halo braids. It’s also the perfect complement to a strapless gown or something off-the-shoulder and slinky. Here’s how to do it:
Apply mousse to dry hair then part down the centre. Starting at the front on one side, take a one inch section from the parting all the way down to the ear. Keep that section level with your ear, while taking another one inch section directly behind. Take the second section under the first section before taking a third section underneath the second to create a loose three-strand plait. Make sure you keep it at ear level and keep adding sections of hair until you reach the nape of your neck. Secure with an elastic band and repeat on the opposite side. Fold the ends of your plaits up and secure with plenty of pins. Spray to fix the style in place and you’re ready to take flight.
