  Comments

  Good points: Fairy cakes rose evenly. Fan is very quiet. Displays how hot oven is after being switched off. Drawbacks: Light is at the top of the oven, so when oven is full you cannot see very well into the bottom half of oven. Grill times slow. Fish fingers did not sufficiently reach temperature despite being well browned on the outside. Potatoes and crumble were unevenly browned during roast test.

  Comments

  Good points: Easy to use fascia. Whole width is door, no stainless steel around sides only above and below door. When grilling, wire rack is placed on the universal tray which is easy to use as are the handles. Fairy cakes and vol au vents scored well, however some rose unevenly. Fruit cake was unevenly browned, but acceptable colour on base. Shows you temperature building up to what you have set and beeps when set temperature is reached. Drawbacks: Only one wire shelf, comes with universal tray. Hard to see into oven due to heat-reflecting coating. For the roast, it was hard to fit all 3 items in together. Crumble was slightly browner around the edges and potatoes were a little soggy.

  Comments

  GH Good Deal. Good points: Good selection of functions, including pyrolytic cleaning, for the price. Coped well with baking fairy cakes and vol au vents and produced an acceptable roast chicken. Shows the temperature the oven is building up to what you have set and beeps when set temperature is reached. Drawbacks: Tricky to fit whole roast dinner in the oven at once, however, and potatoes were a bit soggy. Crumble was pale after the recommended cooking time. Grilling times were slow. Small viewing window makes it hard to check what's happening inside.

  Comments

  Good points: Simplistic fascia. One shelf had sliding rails. For the roast, all three items fitted in perfectly. Potatoes were nice and crispy; ones on outer edges were slightly darker. Drawbacks: Fingerprints easily showed up on touch screen black fascia. Fish fingers did not reach required temperature. Some of the fairy cakes did not rise well, but otherwise good results. Fruit cake slightly cracked, but good even colour. Vol au vents unevenly coloured and some did not rise well. Crumble was not evenly coloured, darker round edges. Doesn't show what temperature is on LCD screen building up to what you have set.

  Comments

  Good points: Good quality fairy cakes and vol au vents. Well browned roast chicken. Bleeps when set temperature is reached. Drawbacks: No conventional heat setting. Quite dim lights, hard to see inside despite two lights. Hard to see inside whilst grilling. Have to press touch buttons quite hard, not very sensitive. Bad smears on LCD screen, easily shows up. Only one wire shelf, used tray. No separate grill pan, used wire shelf with dripping tray below. Hard to use when grilling fish fingers as the slats are wide on the wire shelf, laid them diagonally. Bulky in appearance due to controls being on handle. Fruit cake was slightly burnt on top and base with a tiny bit of cracking.

  Comments

  Good points: Easy to set temperature as it is displayed on LCD screen. Set temperature flashes until it is reached, beeps when reached. Drawbacks: Sliding racks often rolled out on their own. Hard to see middle shelf trays, light was blocked by top tray. High quantity of fairy cakes did not rise evenly. Fruit cake quite badly burnt on side nearest back oven cavity. Some vol au vents were badly stuck on the tray and the top shelf browned quicker than the middle shelf tray. Potatoes browned at the back but pale at the front, same with the crumble. Chicken was pale.

  Good points: Roast emerged beautifully cooked and evenly coloured from the main oven. The top oven made an excellent job of fairy cakes. Good selection of shelf levels, six in the main oven and five in the top. Display to show how hot oven is after cooking. Drawbacks: No sign or arrows on display to show that both ovens are on together except both lights being on. Fairy cakes and vol au vents didn't rise evenly in the main oven.

  Good points: Good quality fairy cakes in main oven. Roast chicken and potatoes were of high quality. Drawbacks: Hard to see into grill when grilling bread, steamed up. Light in main oven is at top so hard to see items lower down in oven when full. Could not fit fruit cake in top oven, placed wire rack on bottom which sits on feet. Fish fingers soggy. Fairy cakes crispy around the edges but unevenly rose. Vol au vents badly burnt on bases in top oven as it was conventional heat. Fruit cake slightly burnt and cracked in main oven. Crumble was burnt on side nearest oven wall. Nothing to show how hot the oven is after cooking.
