One of the latest liquid foundations to cross our desks is Clarins Everlasting Foundation + SPF15; a new and improved version of the brand’s best-selling long-hold foundation, now promising to last for 18 hours. Though we’re not suggesting you start the New Year by putting in such long hours, here’s why we like it:
Good coverage: there’s a lot of science behind this, involving a new ‘high fidelity system’ using improved silicones that bond to the skin, and more even distribution of colour pigments. We don’t care too much about that.
We just like the way it slides on evenly and absorbs well without ‘sitting’ on the skin.
Good protection: it has an SPF of 15 and also protects against pollution.
Long-lasting: even if you don’t require the full 18-hour marathon, it’s nice not to have to touch it up throughout the day.
Easy to use: the glass bottle has a pump-action top, so no danger of spilling too much messy liquid out into your hand.
