Sew a stylish Christmas apron: free sewing pattern

To make
Following the diagram below, cut out one apron and one 32cm x 28cm rectangle for the pocket.
Cut two 80cm lengths of ribbon for waist ties and one 60cm length of ribbon for neck strap.
Turn under and stitch a 2cm hem across top edge of pocket.
Press under 1cm on sides and bottom of pocket.
Pin to centre of apron 27cm above lower edge. Stitch in place.
Press under 5mm then 1.5cm hem all around outer edge of apron.
Insert ribbon waist ties and neck strap under hems and pin in place. Stitch around apron edge, stitching in ribbon ties as you go.
Press under a 1cm hem at loose ends of both waist ties and stitch securely for a neat finish.
