Using 4mm needles cast on 39 (45, 51, 55, 61) sts. Working in st st throughout. Work 3 (7, 5, 11, 13) rows inc 1 st at each end of 2nd (3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 5th) and every foll 1st (2nd, 2nd, 4th, 4th) row. 43 (51, 55, 61, 67) sts.

1st and 3rd sizes only: work 2 (4) rows inc 1 st at each end of 2nd (4th) row. 45 (57) sts.

Shape armholes

Work 4 (4, 4, 6, 6) rows dec 1 st at each end of every row. 37 (43, 49, 49, 55) sts.
Cont without shaping until armholes measure 10 (11, 12, 13, 14) cm 4 (4¼, 4¾, 5¼, 5½) ins, ending with a wrong side row.

Shape shoulders

Shape sleeve top

Work 4 (4, 4, 6, 6) rows, dec 1 st at each end of every row. 36 (40, 44, 46, 50) sts.
Cast off 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) sts at beg of next 8 (4, 10, 10, 6) rows. 12 (28, 4, 6, 26) sts.

1st, 2nd and 5th sizes only: cast off 4 (4, 5) sts at beg of next 2 (6, 4) rows. 4 (4, 6) sts.

All sizes: cast off rem 4 (4, 4, 6, 6) sts.

Back border

With right side facing, using 31/4mm needles pick up and K 50 (54, 62, 66, 74) sts evenly from 39 (45, 51, 55, 61) cast on sts.
Working in 3 x 1 rib throughout and starting with 2nd row proceed as follows:-
Work 13 rows.
Cast off in rib.

Front border

Join shoulder seams.
With right side facing, using 3.25mm needles starting at lower edge of right front side seam pick up and K 14 (17, 17, 19, 21) sts from 12 (14, 14, 16, 18) sts cast on for Right Front, 8 (9, 14, 15, 18) sts evenly round curved edge, 2 (3, 3, 3, 3) sts evenly along straight edge, 32 (34, 38, 40, 44) sts evenly along shaped edge, 30 (32, 34, 36, 42) sts from 25 (27, 29, 31, 35) sts cast off at back of neck, 32 (34, 38, 40, 44) sts evenly along shaped edge, 2 (3, 3, 3, 3) sts evenly along straight edge, 8 (9, 14, 15, 18) sts evenly around curved edge and 14 (17, 17, 19, 21) sts from 12 (14, 14, 16, 18) sts cast on for Left Front. 142 (158, 178, 190, 214) sts.
Working in 3 x 1 rib throughout and starting with a 2nd row work 13 rows.
Cast off in rib.

Making up

Fold sleeves in half lengthways, then placing folds to shoulder seams, sew sleeves in position. Join side, border and sleeve seams.
