CommentsGood points: This differs from others in that it has two water reservoirs - one to hold water and the other to boil it so you can feed from as little as 200ml (one cup) through to boil or as much as a litre or both reservoirs can be boiled together to make 1.6 litres. It is ideal if you only want to boil small amounts at a time without refilling the kettle to boil a small amount each time.
Drawbacks: We found that the last cupful in the water reservoir wouldn't feed into the boiling chamber to make it up to 1 litre; the reservoir had to be filled again to push it through. The instructions are misleading when stating that both chambers can be boiled together - they can only do this safely if the reservoir is not topped up to full once the boiling chamber is full. We found the water started to pour out of the base once boiled. We have addressed this omission in the instructions with EcoKettle and wait to hear an outcome.
