Review of Amica 601CE2.333YDG electric cooker
GH Amica electric cooker
Features

60cm Single oven. A rated. 53 litre useable volume. 0.90kWh energy consumption. Ceramic hob: 1x22cm, 1x19cm, 2x15cm. Multifunction (6 cooking modes including grill). Enamel interior. 1 shelf, 5 shelf positions. Drop down door.

Comments

Good points: Offers a good range of cooking modes for a basic, competitively priced model. Produced well risen Yorkshire puddings on the fan plus conventional setting.

Drawbacks: The controls and front fascia get hot when the oven is on a high setting and when the grill is on. The bases of small sponge cakes become rather dark. Only one narrow wire shelf is supplied plus a roasting pan which makes it a challenge to cook a full roast. No clock or timer. Brief instructions. Only available in independent electrical stores. No fan only setting provided.
