Make postage-stamp Christmas gift tags
Use vintage stamps to make extra special gift tags this festive season
1 If your stamp is attached to an envelope or piece of card, remove it using steam from a boiling kettle or by cutting round its edges.
2 Decide on the positioning of the stamp on your gift tag, then apply a thin layer of glue to the back of the stamp and stick down. Leave to dry.
3 Thread brown twine or red-and-white string (available from www.re-foundobjects.com) or a ribbon of your choice through the eyelet of the tag. Fasten to your gift.
