Stencil an anchor cushion

PP jun12 stencil anchor cushion

You will need

● A plain cushion cover
● 1 pot of fabric paint
● Stencil knife
● Stencil acetate
● Stencil brush

To make
Enlarge the anchor to required size to fit your cushion cover, place acetate over the image and cut out the anchor shape.

Place your cushion cover on a flat surface and put paper between back and front to stop paint seeping through. Secure cushion cover with tape at corners and place stencil on top.

Lightly dip brush into paint, dab off excess onto paper and then brush onto fabric through the stencil. Leave until completely dry before covering with fabric and fixing with a hot iron.
