Make a twig heart
Collect twigs from the garden or countryside for a rustic decoration
You will need
• Four twigs that bend easily without breaking
• Twine
• 1m narrow ribbon or 1m x 15mm fabric
To make
Wet the twigs to make them easier to bend. Tie them all together at the top with twine.
Take two twigs on each side and bend round to form a heart. Tie securely at the bottom and trim ends.
Place between layers of kitchen paper, weighed down with a book, and leave to dry.
Make a loop in the centre of ribbon or fabric strip and tie around top of heart, finishing in a bow.
