Make framed map hearts

framed map picture to make

Enlarge heart template to about 17cm high and cut out. Choose the areas of map you want to use and trace around heart template. Cut out roughly, leaving a margin around hearts. Mount them on to a piece of thin card using spray glue and cut out heart shapes accurately. Cut a piece of backing card to fit your picture frame and glue hearts in position. Insert in frame.

We used an Ordnance Survey map of memorable places visited on holiday. Some other ideas could include road, train, tube and atlas maps, or maps of theme parks and attractions visited.
