Knit a Shaun the Sheep Nintendo DS case

Knit a Shaun the Sheep Nintendo DS case - Toys to make - free knitting patterns - Craft ideas for kids - Craft - allaboutyou.com

Since he first appeared in 'Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave', Shaun the Sheep has become one of the nation's favourite animated characters, now with his own TV programme and lots of other items, from alarm clocks to snowglobes to lunch bags.

Shaun's also about to star in his second Nintendo DS game: 'Shaun the Sheep: Off His Head', where he's on the hunt for the farmer's toupee so that he can go on a date. Add to the fun by making this cute Shaun the Sheep DS case to go with it. This pattern is so simple it's suitable for novice knitters, adults or children.

The case is knitted in stocking stitch. Shaun's fleece is created with a change of yarn, not a change of stitch. When you change yarn, twist the yarns together, to prevent any holes forming.
