Throwing fruit on the barbecue!

Barbecued nutty peaches, chocolate bananas and more gorgeous way to turn the heat up on summer desserts

I build a lot of recipes on the food channel here at allaboutyou, but these hot, fruity wonders that you wrap in tin foil and throw on the barbecue really get my vote.



I can't wait to try the nutty barbecued doughnut peaches, the chocolate doused barbecued banana and before summer has sizzled out I will, without doubt, have eating the maple syrup-soaked summer berries with white chocolate fingers. Oh yes.

All of the above go beautifully with ice cream, and I adore the contrast of hot and cold but if you're determined to keep things ultra-cool this week, here's a gorgeously easy-to-make strawberry and custard ice lolly recipe. Enjoy the sunshine whatever you're cooking and eating!
