There's something about a man with a shield and a sword, especially if they're wearing very little else; it worked for Russell Crowe in Gladiator and happened again for Gerard Butler in 300. Don't get us wrong, we are more than happy to watch Gerard fully clothed too, his Celtic charm is pretty infectious.
