Transform an old jumper into a cushion cover

jumper transformed into cushion cover

Use a cushion that fits the width of your jumper, then you won't have to trim and sew as many edges.

Cut the neck and arms from the jumper so you're left with a shape as near to a square as possible (leave the side seams intact).

Apply fabric glue, such as Bostik SewSimple, to prevent the raw edges fraying.

Turn the jumper inside out and sew or glue the cut open side together.

Turn the jumper the right way out, insert the cushion and close the remaining bottom edge by folding it over and attaching buttons and ribbon loops.
