Step-by-step flower arranging: summer blooms

You will need:

● scissors
● florists' string
● 3 stems of phlox
● 2 double white lisianthus
● 2 pink lisianthus
● 5 spray roses
● 4 strands of ivy
● glass vase





Step 1

Trim all flower stems. Using florists' string, tie the phlox together at the top of the stems. 



Step 2

Wrap the white and pink lisianthus around the phlox, so they sit just below. Then tie together. 



Step 3

Attach the spray roses so they sit at a slightly lower level than the rest of the flowers. 



Step 4

Wrap strands of ivy inside vase to hide stems. Cut stems on the bunch, so they are all the same length, and the roses just sit on the rim of the vase when placed in water. 

Tip: Keep costs down by using ivy or other greenery from your garden.
