Every year, for five days in May, the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea are transformed into a fabulous horticultural showcase. It takes around 800 people working for over three-and-a-half weeks to create this amazing show from the Royal Horticultural Society which includes inspirational show gardens and floral marquees bursting with fragrant blooms.

One of the last in the show season, the North of England Horticultural Societys Autumn Flower Show is regarded as one of the best. Its been held since 1976 and attracts over 35,000 visitors. Most of the exhibition space is under cover so dont let the threat of bad weather put you off.
